Barossa U9 Blue Show Great Fight Against Angle Vale

Barossa United U9 Blue faced Angle Vale on a cold and windy day.

Barossa United played with purpose, but Angle Vale defended well. Both teams contested the midfield, and each created early scoring
opportunities. The breakthrough came when Barossa United were awarded a free kick, with Carson Dahlitz coolly converting into the
top left-hand corner of the goal. It was a great start for Barossa, but Angle Vale continued to press for an equaliser. Some great
defending from Patrick Kelly and Otto Krzoska prevented Angle Vale from finding the back of the net.

Angle Vale were then awarded a corner, and their player crossed the ball into the box. The Barossa goalkeeper made a save on the goal
line; however, the referee ruled the ball had crossed the line, awarding Angle Vale the equaliser.

The second half commenced with both teams evenly matched. Barossa created further opportunities to score, but the Angle Vale defence
stood firm. The visitors then grew in confidence and scored their second and third goals. James Crowder produced some fantastic saves
to deny the opposition on several occasions, but Angle Vale eventually added another goal.

Barossa United never gave up, continuing to play their passing game despite the pressure. Their persistence was rewarded with a
stunning long-range goal from Carson Dahlitz.

It was a valiant effort from Barossa United against a quality opposition. Go Barossa!
