Barossa Under 9 Green played Port Adelaide at home in another exciting match, with everyone showing they truly wanted the ball.
Captain Mackenzie Meadley led the team well, working hard all game and having some massive strong kicks. Malakai Semmler had a
quiet time in goals during the first half, and ran heaps in the second half having a few shooting opportunities. Myles Waples took over
in goals for the second half and pulled off plenty of brilliant diving saves to stop Port Adelaide from scoring.
Bailey Grimwade had a fantastic game and was rewarded with a well-earned goal. Sid Brassil made a great return after a short time
out with injury, showing plenty of courage and effort in his first game back. Koa Lang worked hard from start to finish, helping the
team with great passing and strong defence.
Angas Salter was helping the team with great passing, strong defence, and never giving
up. Lelani Semmler showed great determination all game, making strong tackles and supporting the team with excellent effort.
Another great team performance by the Under 9 Green squad. Well done, everyone!
