Vista flew out of the gates, scoring in the first minute with an unstoppable shot into the top corner.
Barossa’s heads didn’t drop, though, as Johann Krzoska turned on the magic down the right flank, scoring two goals in just three minutes. Harrison McRoe made it 3–1 in the 16th minute, setting the tone as the lads showed they were hungry for their first win of the season.
Vista pulled one back just before halftime against the run of play, making it 3–2.
Barossa started the second half strongly, with another goal from Harrison McRoe, but Vista responded not long after to stay in the contest. Johann Krzoska and Harrison McRoe both completed their hat-tricks to put the game to bed, taking the score to 6–3.
Vista grabbed a late consolation goal, but it wasn’t enough to stop Barossa securing a well-earned victory.
Riley Rewell was awarded Man of the Match for his determined performance in the middle of the park.
