Pitbulls 0–4 BUFC
The boys from Barossa found their first win this season at the fourth time of asking. After a slow start
to the season, the lads came out fired up and eager to prove themselves on the field. Facing up against the
Pitbulls away from home, Barossa took the game to the opposition and didn’t look back.
Barossa kept possession and moved the ball around nicely throughout the first half and were rewarded
for their efforts with a goal by Jeronimo Ramos on his debut, with a left foot strike going in off the bar.
The second half started just as the first half had finished, with Barossa controlling the play. All the
hard work from the midfield duo paid off, with both Jack Binyon and James Ruwoldt getting a goal each to take the score to 0–3.
In the dying embers of the game, Barossa was awarded a penalty after a lofted through ball found
Neil Beach down the left wing. After being brought down for the penalty, he slotted home to round off the
day’s play and see Barossa come away with a clean sheet and 3 points.
