Consistency is key, and for the second week in a row the U11 Girls produced another outstanding performance. The last time they faced
Modbury, four goals found the back of the net. This time, they didn’t allow a single shot on goal—a testament to the team’s outstanding
defensive effort and commitment right across the field.
The girls worked hard, stayed disciplined, and weren’t afraid to stand their ground in what was a physical contest. Their determination
and resilience ensured they matched everything Modbury threw at them.
The breakthrough came thanks to Olivia “The Surgeon” Adams, who clinically found the back of the net to score the match-winning
goal.
A special mention goes to Emma Bund, who excelled in a new role and absolutely bossed the midfield with a composed and influential
performance.
