Under 9 Girls Vs Salisbury Inter
Barossa Under 9 Girls played their final home game of the Season against Salisbury Inter Soccer club for the Round 17 clash.
The Barossa girls were switched on from the start and played a strong 40 minutes of soccer.
Barossa attacked and defended strongly for the entire match and this constant pressure was rewarded with 2 goals being scored.
An emphasis this week was put on congratulating each other when a teammate did something good like dribbling the ball around a
player, a goal being scored or a great defensive play. This was great seeing the girl’s energy build with hugs and hi- fives and loud
cheering for one another after great efforts.
This was one of the best games the girls played for the season and with one game remaining this Sunday away against Adelaide Jaguars
I hope the Under 9’s can finish the season off strong.
