UNDER 9 GREEN – BAROSSA UNITED vs METRO STARS
Another great game for our Under 9 Green team as they took on Metro Stars!
For the first time this season, we had THREE subs! It was fantastic to have a full bench and plenty of fresh legs, with everyone getting
plenty of opportunity to get involved and contribute to the game.
Angas Salter proudly captained the team and got himself on the scoresheet with a great goal!
Bailey Holland took charge in goals for the first half, making some great saves, before coming back out on the field in the second half
and continuing to work hard for the team.
Samuel Birch stepped up in goals for the second half and pulled off some fantastic saves, keeping Metro Stars from finding the back of
the net!
Tom Semmler was always in the action, working hard and helping create opportunities going forward.
Koa Lang put in a great effort, using his skills to move the ball forward and creating some great opportunities for the team.
Liam Parobiec was dangerous up front, putting pressure on Metro Stars and looking for every opportunity to get involved.
Lelani Semmler had a tough job playing against some strong boys from Metro Stars, but she showed plenty of courage and
determination, battling hard and never backing down!
Malakai Semmler kept trying throughout the game, getting involved when he could and continuing to push himself right until the final
whistle.
Sid Brassil is always seeming to find himself right where the ball is! He worked hard to win possession, chased down the opposition and
kept battling throughout the game.
Mackenzie Meadley brought those big boots again! Some strong clearances, great determination and another solid effort!
A fantastic team effort from our Under 9 Green crew! Last time we played this team we lost by a heap ! This time everyone has improved
so much that we had a tie! Everyone worked hard, supported each other and kept fighting right until the end..
So proud of this bunch!
