Highlights from U/11 Blue
This weekend we took on the Pontian Eagles Soccer Club.
Our boys settled quickly with some slick passing to eventually releasing Lewis to score our first goal. Seth was captain and it obviously flicked an internal switch for him as he continuously repelled the Eagles attack with the ever reliable Joel to assist when needed. We played nice team football in the first half and Lewis ended up being a hero with a hatrick!!!! (even kicked one on his left). Kayden kept well, working hard to keep a clean sheet.
Pontian came out full of energy in the second half and we had to work very hard to repel their imposing attacks; Cooper and Chase battled hard to keep our lead intact. Seth and Xavier did some great things together with Braxton in goals fighting valiantly. We held on strongly to win! Well done to all the boys! #BUFC
