U14s YCC – BUFC v Elizabeth Grove

Barossa got back into winning ways with a hard fought but well earned
victory against the top undefeated (previously) Elizabeth Grove.

The boys were sharp on the outset, with pressure on all lines to open up
the 1st goal for United. Repelling attacks with a relentless defence and

high lines for the offside trap was excellent.

At the beginning of the second half, the pressure paid off again as they
scored the 2nd to make it 2–0. Grove had a tricky forward line and,
despite the excellent defensive pressure, they managed to get one past

the keeper, who was performing well all game.

United clapped back with a 3rd goal (brace for the player). Back and
forth relentlessly, and an unfortunate 2nd for Grove got through to
make it 3–2, before the most unbelievable slow motion, rip the heart out

4th goal finally put the game to bed 4–2.

Best game so far, boys.
