Barossa Under 9 Green kicked off against Playford City at Ramsay Park on a chilly 4-degree morning, and the young squad brought
plenty of energy and team spirit to the field creating an even result.
Mackenzie Meadley celebrated his first goal of the season and showed great determination in a few headers. Lelani Semmler was strong
in defence, making important tackles and helping stop attacks. Liam Parobiec worked hard in goal and contributed positively when
moving forward. Myles Waples covered plenty of ground, winning the ball and supporting his teammates throughout the match.
Captain Angas Salter had some solid blocks and great chases. Malakai Semmler made some clever runs and created several chances
with powerful shots. Bailey Grimwade delivered accurate passes and worked hard from start to finish. Tom Semmler made several
excellent saves in goal to help keep his side in the contest. Koa Lang also played his part, showing great enthusiasm and had strong
defensive pressure.
A huge shoutout to acting coach Tate Waples, who did a fantastic job. Tate kept the team well organised, offered plenty of
encouragement and made sure everyone played with great spirit and worked together like a champion side.
We are all very proud of this amazing team!
